In Brooklyn.

We drove from Lancaster to Brooklyn yesterday and got to our friends' place around 8:00. We hopped on the subway with Gabe and rode down to Koreatown to meet Tyler and Dae Kyu. We ate some good food, walked around a bit, and then rode back to Brooklyn. We hung out in their apartment and talked for a few hours over some New Orleans beer we had brought up from the south. We hit the sack around 1:00.

We got up this morning, got coffee, and got Geronimo moved. Now we're ready to hit the town.

In L.A. with Sarah.

We pulled in to Los Angeles on Sunday and visited our friend Sarah. We met while teaching in Seoul. We went out for dak-galbi in Koreatown and then went to check out Hollywood, which was a lot scuzzier than I had imagined. We ate fantastic cream puffs in the Kodak Theater and then drove back to her apartment. We had a great sleep on her comfy futon and work up to a beautiful day. We said our goodbyes early, and then Rhoda and I went to see the city.
