We were really happy to have the opportunity to visit my sister Annalise in Denhver. She's got a nice apartment in the city, and her room-mates are great. She was an excellent host, and we're glad she was able to show us around her neighborhood.
We spent Saturday morning together for Rhoda's birthday, and we met Ryan, who seems like a pretty friendly and cool guy. We also met Gatsby (Catsby, Fatsby), their super-furry cat.
On Sunday afternoon we went for a walk around downtown Denver. We had a super time together, despite the snow and cold weather.
We very thankful to Annalise for letting us stay a night at her place and for taking the time to show us around town. We had a wonderful time. Annalise made us a delicious dinner for Rhoda's birthday, as well as a fabulous carrot cake with cream cheese icing. We felt spoiled.
