San Francisco.

We visited San Francisco last week from Wednesday until Friday. We had a great time and saw a lot. We stayed with our friends Jeanette and Joel.

We went to Golden Gate Park when we first arrived. We enjoyed the balmy weather and walked around the grounds. We made it to Jeanette and Joel's place that night and went out for Indian food on Mission. We saw the moustachioed guy who always wears a beret at a jaunty angle from the Discovery Channel's Mythbusters at the restaurant. The food was great. Then we got some ice cream, the gals at Buy Rite and the guys at an Indian place down the street. Rhoda had pumpkin ice cream and I had mango and raja rana. It was all delicious.

On Thursday Rhoda and I walked Alberta and hammered out some business at the coffee shop. Then we took the bus downtown. We checked out the city, including Chinatown and the Golden Gate bridge. Chinatown was pretty spectacular, and the Golden Gate Bridge was impressive. We took the bus all the way back across town to Jeanette and Joel's, where we enjoyed a delicious dinner and hung out together.

We ate pancakes together on Friday morning, and then it was time for Rhoda and me to hit the road for Yosemite. All in all, we had a fantastic time in San Francisco, and we've promised the mayor that we'll follow the "Flowers in your hair" ordinance during our next visit. Huzzah!
