Yosemite.

We drove to Yosemite National Park on Friday. We had been told that it is breathtaking, and it did not disappoint us. The scenery - huge trees, the sheer rock walls of El Capitan and Half Dome, and towering waterfalls - are simply incredible. We stayed at Camp 4, a walk-up campground. We took a look at Yosemite Falls Friday afternoon before cooking up some dinner and retiring to the tent to get out of the "winter" storm that was on the way. We woke up Saturday morning to a bright blue sky and the sun shining off the rock walls around us. We ate pancakes and then hiked out to Mirror Pond. It was beautiful. On the walk back to our site, a coyote ran out of the woods and crossed the path six feet from us. We got back to our site, packed up, and hit the road for Sequoia National Park.
