New York City to Rochester.

We left Brooklyn on Friday afternoon and drove all the way up to Rochester. We drove across the Manhattan Bridge and across the island. The traffic was gridlocked bumper to bumper. We made it into and out of the Holland Tunnel. The highway was packed in New Jersey, but we made it out in relatively good time. Then it was time for the long haul into Pennsylvania, back into New York, and then all the way up to Rochester. We were mighty pleased when we pulled up to Matt and Lindsey's place around 8:30. A few highlights of the trip: the ornate stone work on the Manhattan Bridge; the ridiculously disproportionate anatomy of a mannequin we saw; driving through the Holland Tunnel; listening to the Fantastic Mr. Fox soundtrack; and pulling up the snowy driveway of Matt and Lindsey's place.
