North Carolina to Lancaster.

We left Indian Trail yesterday afternoon. Tante Neet insisted that we take sandwiches, sodas, cookies, orange slices, and brownies for our trip. Thanks again!

We drove into Virginia and camped in George Washington National Forest. It was cold and snowy, but not as bad as other places at which we've camped. We woke up to cold, icy rain. We packed up the tent, got in Geronimo, and hit the road.

After getting coffee, we drove up the highway through Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. The weather sucked, to be blunt. The rain was heavy, the roads were icy, and the trucks were in all the lanes and kicking up a ton of spray. At one point I was behind, beside, and in front of a truck. The one behind me gave me his high beams a couple times, so I gave him something a couple times. We did stop at Gettysburg, which was a highlight.

The drive was about five hours, and it was tiring. We were very happy when we pulled in behind Ari and Suzanna's house in Lancaster.
